My name is Latoya Stanley, and photography has been a part of my story for as long as I can remember.

Although my academic journey took me through Electrical Engineering at the degree level and later a Master’s in Logistics and Supply Chain, my passion for photography never left me. Even while working in my fields of study, the love for capturing moments, emotions, and stories remained quietly but persistently present.

Eventually, I knew I couldn’t ignore it anymore.

I made the decision to pursue photography intentionally, training, learning, and truly understanding the art beyond just taking pictures. Along the way, I was privileged to be mentored by Saske Lee and Dave Virgo, two prominent and respected photographers in Jamaica, whose guidance helped shape my creative vision and professional approach.

Today, photography is no longer just a passion, it is my purpose.

I believe in creating breathtaking, soulful imagery that goes beyond the gallery, images that tell stories, hold emotion, and transform into lasting memories. This journey is about more than photos; it’s about connection, meaning, and building something that lives on in everyday life.

I am now working to turn this passion into my daily living, and I invite you to be a part of that journey.
